My Review:
Ali is a girl who finds love in all wrong place yet this she has to have it right, yes? The guy she's dating and living with no less is the city manager soon to become the newest mayor she's sure of it. When she loves she loves she loves she loves with her whole heart. So when he needs help with the fund raiser that has been keeping him out all kinds of late hours for months, she is happy to help. You see he has so much work he even set up a room in another one of the bedrooms so not to disturb her when he comes in late and he still has work to do. Really? Red flag sister.
But, Ali being the trusting soul she is arrive at the fund raiser to due her part where he basically ignores her. At the end she goes off to find him and...he is in his office with a woman who is a screamer helping her get off if you know what I mean. She leaves to go home and wait for him. (Better girl then me) He never shows. But she finds the note that says its over & oh by the way you have to move out rent is only paid til yesterday. As she stands in her bra and panties cussing out her ex on his answering machine in walks Luke a tired broken hunk of a cop who's come to rest for a month or to at his that is suppose to be empty. Although, he is not happy its not happy, he & his member are loving the floor show Ali is giving while she does not know he is not there. Once the calls done though he wants her gone but she offers to cook an omelet for him, he agrees because he's to tired. Next thing you know she is staying one more night. Watch this complicated yet loving relationship unfold you won't regret it. I was sent this book free for my honest opinion & that is what you got.
