As he helps Ali put her world back together, the pieces of Luke's own life finally seem to fall into place. Is this the start of a sizzling fling? My Review:

Ali is a girl who finds love in all wrong place yet this she has to have it right, yes? The guy she's dating and living with no less is the city manager soon to become the newest mayor she's sure of it. When she loves she loves she loves she loves with her whole heart. So when he needs help with the fund raiser that has been keeping him out all kinds of late hours for months, she is happy to help. You see he has so much work he even set up a room in another one of the bedrooms so not to disturb her when he comes in late and he still has work to do. Really? Red flag sister.
But, Ali being the trusting soul she is arrive at the fund raiser to due her part where he basically ignores her. At the end she goes off to find him and...he is in his office with a woman who is a screamer helping her get off if you know what I mean. She leaves to go home and wait for him. (Better girl then me) He never shows. But she finds the note that says its over & oh by the way you have to move out rent is only paid til yesterday. As she stands in her bra and panties cussing out her ex on his answering machine in walks Luke a tired broken hunk of a cop who's come to rest for a month or to at his that is suppose to be empty. Although, he is not happy its not happy, he & his member are loving the floor show Ali is giving while she does not know he is not there. Once the calls done though he wants her gone but she offers to cook an omelet for him, he agrees because he's to tired. Next thing you know she is staying one more night. Watch this complicated yet loving relationship unfold you won't regret it. I was sent this book free for my honest opinion & that is what you got.

A word-of-mouth bestseller that’s captivating readers with its honesty, grit, and headstrong heroine, White Trash Beautiful is a story for anyone who has ever felt trapped in life, cheated by love—and longed for something more . . . Cass Daniels isn’t waiting for her knight in shining armor. She knows that girls like her don’t get a happily ever after. Not if you live in a trailer with your mom, work at a greasy spoon diner, and get leered at by old men. Maybe that’s why she puts up with Jackson—her poor excuse for a boyfriend, who treats her like dirt. Cass has learned to accept her lot in life. That is, until he walks into her diner. . . . His name is Tucker White, and he’s different from any man Cass has ever known. Tall, tattooed, and bad-ass gorgeous, he’s the lead singer of the rock band Damaged. From the moment they meet, Tucker sees something in Cass he just can’t shake. Something beautiful. Something haunted. Something special. And he’s determined to find out what it is—if only he can get her to open up and let him in. . . .

My Review:
This story is about down & out Cass who goes to work daily knowing it will & and can't go anywhere. (But dreams of getting out of the trailer park with the sparse money she is able to save each paycheck.)Life has just not dealt her a great hand. When she was young she met Jax, when he came to her aide when she was being bullied at school. He was good & kind-hearted. As time moves on and he moves in the home with her and her mom, after her father abandoned them and times became hard. He loses his job finds a trailer park to move them to and his kindness is now gone. He starts using drugs with Cass' mom Ann, while Cass is at work trying to support all three of them. As Jax falls farther down the rabbit hole of his drug use he gets meaner & abusive towards Cass. Cass thinks she loves him at first & then she thinks she owes him for saving her. Then, she meets, Tucker, at the greasy spoon she works at. It's lust at first sight but she has no trust in what he says or what he wants, in her. Men always want something right? No one ever gives you nothing for free even kindness, Right?

This brought a lot of different emotions to the table. The inner struggle to be loyal to the one that stood by you, yet, at what cost? The pain of so many types of loss that I never had time to say not again, but, WOW! I totally recommend this book. Women need to find self-worth but it is nice to find it in friends and those we love also. Cass was luck in the end she finds both but what a dangerous ride she took to get there. She finds the HEA when I thought for sure it was not going to happen. THIS BOOK WAS COURTESY OF NETGALLEY.COM

-- A National Bestseller within 24 hrs of release!! --

A bargain. A baby. A billion things can go wrong.
Nicholas Alexander doesn’t mind being called a playboy. His charm serves him well in business and a beautiful woman is always on his arm. Except the one he’s in love with.
Raina Winters doesn’t believe in love, so when she’s dumped right before her wedding, she’s more upset about losing what she really wants from marriage. A baby.
When Nick learns about Raina’s dilemma, his first reaction is to leave her hanging like she left him after their steamy one-night stand. But he finally has something Raina needs, so he offers her a deal. He’ll give her a baby if she gives him something he desires just as much. Just two little words.
I. Do.

This book contains encounters with a drunken Elvis, pushy mamas, tabloid shenanigans, several occurrences of bad cooking and hot sex between two people who aren't even sure they like each other. Just saying...

The Alexanders Series

Future Books
He's the Man ~ 8/2013
All I Need is You ~ 1/2014

I was first introduced to this author with the book "Teasing Trent" which turns out to be the prequel to this series.  Yet, that and this book are both very much stand-alone books.  Although, characters will be overlapping and catch up is transitions are a snap.  I love the Alexander family a lot.  Nick is the main family member that is featured in this one.  He is the one that is madly and truly in love with Raina.  She has a terrible problem with trust issues which stems from her father leaving when she was young.  Not just her but her twin sister, Ridley, which is now going to marry Nick's brother Jackson. You see Raina and Nick had a "Steamy and Highly Sexually Charged One Night Stand." (Did we get how important that was?)  It was earth shattering for them both, BUT!  For Raina she is so use to men not loving her the way they should or bailing on her that she ran before he could do it to her, even though she knew in her heart he was the one man that she could lose her heart to and love.  For Nick she was the one woman that stole his breath away on sight. She was the one woman that he was willing to change his lifestyle for.  That was all taken away when he woke up and she was gone.  But, fate had to play her hand.  Because now their siblings were madly and truly in love.  So, guess who was helping with the wedding?  You got it, Raina and Nick.  Along with all of all the other family member’s and cast of characters that make up the Alexander family. Come and see how the fun, sorrow, joys, tenderness and HEA comes to this couple. (book 1: "One More Day", book 2: "He's the Man" due out soon)

COME AND GET IT                                   Keira Cole

Introducing Keira Cole, a hot new voice in contemporary romance, and her novella “Come and Get It”
Sexy Dixie Rose Bonifay has sunk her roots deep in the Texas hill country she calls home. Having dedicated her life to the one thing she loves most—cooking—she’s built her own successful mobile food business catering to the construction workers in the area, and she’s stirring up the appetite of every man around, in more ways than one.
When smug California architect Quin Halladay comes to town, he sets his sights on Dixie’s ranchland—and on Dixie herself. Confident and charming, he can’t wait to bed the alluring Dixie and add yet another notch to his bedpost. What Quin doesn’t realize is that Dixie can match wits with him every step of the way, and before Quin knows it the Texas beauty has turned the tables on him and he can’t get her out of his head.
As the two get down to business in a romantic Texas two-step, it’s a battle of wills and wits between small-town smarts and big-city arrogance. And with all the local men circling their wagons to protect the woman they’ve come to love and respect, Quin will have to prove himself and choose between the city life he knows and the Texas rose he’s come to love.
This was originally published under the name India Masters.
About the Author:
Keira Cole is Southern through and through. She’s a“yes, sir/no, ma’am,” please and thank you kind of girl who was raised to respect her elders and be polite to everyone. Born in Florida, she moved to South Carolina at age ten. It was there she learned about the wonders of sweet tea, honeysuckle, and the taste of a warm, freshly picked tomato from a roadside stand. (She also learned to carry a saltshaker in her glove box.) She blogs at
This was an interesting book. I really wanted to like this book but it felt like it was missing something. The characters were so fun Dixie Rose & Quin but it felt like they were way too rushed all the way around in the relationship. Very Hot Sex but then nothing. They are in the Bible belt and he is a womanizer & her the good girl?  I just got into them and them into each other and then boom he ran and when I thought he would come back to her and she would be with child there was a totally shorter ending. Wow, could have been so much more. I feel like I romanced the food more than this couple. Both wow I got the bit "O" from the tofu. :)
