Forever and a Day (Lucky Harbor, #6)LOVE CAN HAPPEN IN A HEARTBEAT.

Grace never thought she’d be starting her life over from scratch. Losing everything has landed her in Lucky Harbor, working as a dog walker for overwhelmed ER doctor Josh Scott. But the day his nanny fails to show up, Grace goes from caring for Josh’s loveable mutt to caring for his rambunctious kids. Soon Grace is playing house with the sexy single dad…

With so many people depending on him, Josh has no time for anything outside of his clinic and family–until Grace arrives in town. Now this brainy blonde is turning his life inside out and giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “good bedside manner.” Josh and Grace don’t know if what they have can last. But in a town like Lucky Harbor, a lifetime of love starts with just one day…

MY REVIEW:

This was just a fun couple from the get go. Just let me start there. Grace is an out if work CPA ever since the economy fell out. Josh on the other hand is mild mannered Dr., overly tired but loving dad, single parent to his five yr. old son & twenty-one year old wheel bound sister & in desperate need of reliable help to walk a new crazy pug puppy. Only problem is that he miss dials & gets Grace who has never even had a gold fish. This is where the fun begins. Because they know each other through friends but they don't know each other if your get my drift. If your don't you will.  The chemistry between these two was fun but the dynamics Jill puts in place with Anna & Toby, Josh's family is like laying a patchwork for a blanket. I just loved all the characters in this series they just seemed to pop off the pages & become a part of you. Very enjoyable book you will love it too.

Under their watchful eyes, Nick finds earning back her trust the hardest thing he's ever had to do. If he succeeds, he will receive the greatest gift of all, Mia's love for a lifetime.

MY REVIEW:

I really wanted to give this book 5 stars but the fact that it ended so fast, there were really no resolutions met just a gloss over, & I wanted to know where & what was going to happen with Mina & Nick but Also Carlos & Therese. Loved all her aunts & uncle as usual & of course her patents. But Lucille is just to funny for words the way she handles Nick & Carlos disagreement. I am glad I read it I still do want to know What happens to them.

Falling For The Backup

FALLING FOR THE BACKUP                    TONI ALEO

Toni Aleo’s sexy new eBook original novella featuring the Nashville Assassins will have you believing in the power of love at first sight . . . and second sight . . . and third.

But just when she thinks things are getting good, he vanishes, leaving Aynslee wondering, was that guythe one? And did she just let him slip through her fingers?
Former superstar goalie Jordan Ryan is back on the ice—finally. After a crippling knee injury that had him wondering if he’d ever play pro hockey again, he’s got his full attention on rebuilding his career. So a pretty—okay, beautiful—girl on a plane shouldn’t be a distraction. But Jordan is very, very distracted. And when Aynslee crosses his path again, he’s not sure any job in the world is worth missing his second chance with a woman like her

MY REVIEW:

I really enjoyed this book. These two characters really pull you in right from the start. Aynslee and Jordan were two peas in a pod that had no place in the normal dating scene of today. They are basically geeks and kind of what most would call old fashioned. Aynslee comes from a big Irish family of 8 kids and Jordan is an only child. She is a 3rd grade teacher and he is a hockey player but one plane ride home and boom two more chances meeting from that day they are stuck like glue. Will it be that easy to stay stuck since Jordan's hockey career with the current team he is with is not moving the way he had hoped after a knee injury? Enjoy this tale of two people who are skittish when it comes to love and yet want a true love relationship and the happily ever after kids and all. This also has some really hot sex scenes just be aware to fan, fan, and fan some more.

The Story Guy (Novella)

THE STORY GUY (NOVELLA)                   MARY ANN RIVERS
Posted: July 4, 2013

In this eBook original novella, Mary Ann Rivers introduces a soulful and sexy tale of courage, sacrifice, and love.
I will meet you on Wednesdays at noon in Celebration Park. Kissing only.

Carrie West is happy with her life . . . isn’t she? But when she sees this provocative online ad, the thirty something librarian can’t help but be tempted. After all, the photo of the anonymous poster is far too attractive to ignore. And when Wednesday finally arrives, it brings a first kiss that’s hotter than any she’s ever imagined. Brian Newburgh is an attorney, but there’s more to his life . . . that he won't share with Carrie. Determined to have more than just Wednesdays, Carrie embarks on a quest to learn Brian’s story, certain that he will be worth the cost. But is she ready to gamble her heart on a man who just might be The One . . . even though she has no idea how their love story will end?

MY REVIEW:

"Wednesdays Only" at noon was advertised in the Metro link personals. Carrie who could never seem to sleep anymore would stay up doing and thinking all kinds of crazy things. So to pass the time would read the personals. Some of the personals depending on who they were from took on personalities in her head and sounds of their voices too. It was a game she played to keep her mind active and to while away the hours that she was awake. When she saw this "Wednesdays Only" this really caused her to think. It really and truly interested her. She could not just let it lay there and not let it pass so what does she do? You got it, she answers it. This is such a moving piece but at the same time it is frustrating one. Carrie and Brian start to have this relationship on Weds. but is gets complicated and so much more when Brian will allow it. There is such a back story it is not even funny, it is intense. There is a HEA but it is a lot to get there.

Making It Last

MAKING IT LAST (CAMELOT SERIES)                                         RUTHIE KNOX
Posted: July 4, 2013

In a brand-new eBook original novella, RITA finalist and USA Today bestselling author Ruthie Knox takes her spectacular Camelot series to new heights with a tale of desire reinvented.
A hotel bar. A sexy stranger. A night of passion. There’s a part of Amber Mazzara that wants those things, wants to have a moment—just one—when life isn’t a complicated tangle of house and husband and kids and careers. Then, after a long, exhausting “vacation” with her family, her husband surprises her with a gift: a few days on the beach . . . alone.

Only she won’t be alone for long, because a handsome man just bought her a drink. He’s cool, he’s confident, and he wants to take Amber to bed and keep her there for days. Lucky for them both, he’s her husband. He’s got only a few days in Jamaica to make her wildest desires come true, but if he can pull it off, there’s reason to believe that this fantasy can last a lifetime.

MY REVIEW:

Welcome to Camelot or at least it should feel like a dream come true right? At least that is what Amber thought was going to happen when she met married and started having children with Tony (ok maybe she jumped the married part when it came to the baby part) but you know what I mean. It was all supposed to be perfect forever right? Then, why was she sitting in front of a Jamaican resort with family up the wazoo watching her deal with her youngest child throwing up his guts because her middle son talked him into eating chocolate when he knows he is allergic to milk products. So, the other two boys are supposed to be separated on different benches her husband is supposed to be gathering luggage and helping with her family and ill father. Now she is sitting wondering when she can get a few minutes to have another good cry like she did last night over her life. She seemed to be doing that a lot of that lately. In fact ever since her youngest started first grade and she had all this time on her hands. It's only been ten years of marriage and she and her husband Tony, don't even know each other for he is working fifteen hour days or more. Tony & Amber who are they? Hell, forget him who is she? The shuttle arrives and it's time to leave. With all the worried looks the bus is loaded and she and Tony are the last to get ready to board and then Tony wants to talk, now??? The next thing she knows he says, he has talked it over with her aunt and her mom and they decided that she has looked so lost and tired that it would be a nice thing for her to stay and have a mini vacation there without all of them. She is blown away, feeling like a throw away. But when Tony kisses her in a way she knows he is worried but she can't tell about what? Read this moving Novella. I totally could relate to this couple. I really believe more women can relate to Amber then I am sure they will admit. It is a scary time when the last one goes into that all day school day and your full time job of mom is over. You will see a part of yourself in her at some point and will feel her pain and her love and happiness too. There is a lot of fun couple sex and it is hot, bring a fan.
