Monday night without much fan fair, Jay Cutler became the Chicago Bears leader in touchdowns, attempts, completions, and yards. Records that Sid Luckman held for the longest time. The last one going Monday night the TD record which he held since he retired in 1950, and it took until 2015 for a Bears QB to break the record. In this new era of passing.

A couple of weeks ago former Pacers great Mel Daniels, passed away. He played for the Pacers while they were an ABA team from 68-74, he helped them to three ABA titles, was an all-star, one of four Pacers to have their numbers retired, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. I enjoyed watching the ABA when I was a kid a very exciting game and made the NBA change.

  1. Well that LSU ALABAMA, game was really something. I was not expecting Alabama to beat Lsu by that many points and just out play for the whole game. But they really looked liked a top team.

  2. Well being a Packer fan they have not played well really for the last four games. Though they won two of them before they had a bye they still gave up a lot yards and are letting Rogers get hit to often. the receivers are not getting open either and that is not just good coverage some of that is giving the QB time and the WR working to get open. I also saw today that they Starks to start game Sunday against the Lions instead of Lacy.

  3. Will Carolina, the Patriots, Bengals, who will be the next team to fall from the undefeated ranks? Carolina might have the best chance at going undefeated with their remaining schedule.

  4. Baseball has already had a few trades just a week after the Royals beat the Mets. The Royals just kept coming back each time they were down. they never gave up and would get a big time hit to put the game into extra innings and to win it.

  5. NBA is just getting started but the Warriors are playing great and picking up where they left off. But it is still a long season to start putting anyone a head yet.

  6. Another willed game in college football Michigan St. vs Nebraska with Nebraska pulling it out some how with just seconds left. The officials said the receiver was forced out of bounds. i did not think so and i am a Nebraska fan. The call from Nebraska radio also said it would not count because he went out of bounds and they were surprised as well when they called it a touchdown. So if the homers were surprised i am sure every one else was also. But a win is a win.

  7. Not a Raider fan but i do like their QB local boy, and some of their players. How can you not double team Brown on that play. everyone knows he is going to be the first read and when he gets the ball a few moves and he scores the winning TD. hopefully the shore up that mistake for future games.

  8. Here's a stat for you the Lions who play at Green Bay on Sunday have not won their since 1991, that is right they have not won a game in Wisconsin since 1991, which by the way was the last time they made it to the NFC Championship game. one game from the Super Bowl. They had Barry Sanders, and Chris Spielman to name two players from that team. since then it has been down hill for them instead of good things.
