A Wedding Tail (A Rescue Dog Romance #3)

A WEDDING TAIL                                          CASEY GRIFFIN

Wedding planner Zoe Plum has brides from all walks of life vying for her services. The only problem is: happily-single Zoe doesn’t actually enjoy weddings―but that might change when she meets the singer of a local band playing at one of her weddings. His name is Levi Dolson and he’s too gorgeous for his own good. And now he’s gone ahead and charmed her new dachshund. . .

It’s no secret that Zoe doesn’t believe in fairy tales, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to make sweet music with Levi. While she’s convinced she doesn’t need a man, when someone starts setting one trap after the next to make sure she never plans a wedding ever again, she might need Levi in more ways than she could have imagined. But just how far is Zoe’s hidden enemy willing to go? The only thing Levi knows for sure is that he will do everything in his power to protect the woman who brings music to his soul. Maybe that will prove to Zoe, once and for all, that he is a man worthy of her heart. . .

PAT'S REVIEW

This story opens with Zoe Plum wedding planner going around at a wedding putting out fires before the wedding has even started. It is one disaster after another and it makes you think that someone is doing everything on propose. Well, Zoe who plans weddings does not and is not looking for a man for she was left at the altar six years ago and she has decided that she is fine alone. Well, that is until Levi Dolson arrived at the wedding as a replacement groomsman and he is actually taken by her. When he volunteers to play the organ because the person suddenly got sick. He tells Zoe he plays the piano and the organ has keys so he should be able to wing it. She is surprised when he was playing Pachelbel. Throughout the rest of the story she would continue to be surprised by Levi, and as much as she tried to push him away he would be there for her when something would go terribly wrong. Zoe had so many things happen to her that by the time her last wedding that she was doing for her friend was taking place it was amazing that she was still in one piece barley. You were going along for the ride, explosion, accident, a fight, another fire, a murder, and still wondering who could it be? Who was the person that wanted to do her harm? All the while her life that she thought she had figured out she did not. At every turn to help her was Levi accept for one week when he was gone with his band and wouldn’t you know it she wanted to talk to him but couldn’t. Did this mean that she was finally after six years breaking down her walls and letting in someone else? A man no less. Read this fun at times and fast paced story of love, murder, mystery, and of course Fred her dachshund who actually likes music and keeps this story moving along and reminds me of the one we had many years ago. Read this very good story with good characters and find out what happens. A very good book. I got this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com
