True Fiction (Ian Ludlow Thrillers #1)

TRUE FICTION                                             LEE GOLDBERG

When a passenger jet crashes onto the beaches of Waikiki, bestselling thriller writer Ian Ludlow knows the horrific tragedy wasn't an accident.

Years before, the CIA enlisted Ian to dream up terrorism scenarios to prepare the government for nightmares they couldn't imagine. Now one of those schemes has come true, and Ian is the only person alive who knows how it was done...and who is behind the plot. That makes him too dangerous to live.

Ian goes on the run, sweeping up an innocent bystander in his plight--Margo French, a dog walker and aspiring singer. They are pursued by assassins and an all-seeing global-intelligence network that won't stop until Ian and Margo are dead. Ian has written thrillers like this before, but this time he doesn't know how it's going to end--or if he will be alive to find out.

PAT'S REVIEW

This book is very good from the start to finish. The main character Ian Ludlow is on a book tour and after a so, so day in Seattle he goes back to his hotel to rest. Being turned down by Margo the women who is taking him around to different bookstores for his promotions, he begins to notice the news and that a passenger jet crashed on Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. This was one of the scenarios he came up with years ago with some other writers for the CIA, back when he was writing for a television show. After calling one of the men from the meeting and finding out that he is dead, and looking up for the others he realizes he is the only still alive. Then again his apartment blew up but he just happened to be in his tub which was an old fashion cast iron. Then after that, his brakes on his bike went out on Mulholland drive but rock and some huge bushes stop him from going over the cliff. Now trying not to panic he gets a hold of Margo and she does not believe him even after a car almost hits them which had no driver. She really doesn’t fully believe him until they are fighting off a hit women in a home that she knew the people were out of town. Now on the run both of them, you get a look at how you can be tracked without you even knowing it. This is a story that is fast-paced, fun at times, has action and is just a very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com
