MY REVIEW:

     This book was a sweet friend to lovers to more book.  At fifteen Seth Hamilton, the twin son of the wealthy real estate company owner of the sleepy lake town started public school.  He had been going to a prep school in Connecticut with his twin Oliver but hated it.  He only lasted one year.  Then he decided he wanted to try the tiny school in his hometown.

     He wasn’t too sure about it on the first day.  But on the second day, the girl who had been absent day one was there day two.  Which he thought Ally Lawrence badass for ditching.  But later found out that Ally’s mom was very ill and stayed home to keep her company.  Considering on the first day when he thought she was badass for ditching well knowing now why he thought she was even more badass for the reason she did it.  He has no mom she just walked out on the family so he liked that they were close because Ally was will to share her mom and he enjoyed spending time with her.

     Their friendship didn’t stop from that day forward it only grew.  Even when Seth dated, each time breaking Ally’s heart but she was always happy he was happy.  Then Seth got caught with hand in the cookie jar so to speak you see he got Marj pregnant and so being Seth, he had to make it right.  He married her.  He wanted to make sure that Ally knew that she would always be his best friend and that they would still be as close and hang out as they did.  She said no they couldn’t and wouldn’t for he had a wife now and she would be his best friend and he needed to spend time with her and his family he made.

     Before he could argue with her the day of the wedding she was gone.  Out to sit with guest in the church.  But not six months later Marj wanted a pay out and gave up all rights to Laurie their daughter she didn’t want their life or baby.  She didn’t like Ally or having her in the picture at all.

     So, they divorced.  Leaving Seth with a new born and that is when Ally stepped in to help her friend.  From that point on it was the two of them caring for Seth’s daughter.  Until Ally’s mom started to take a turn and she was needed home to care for her more.  She was doing all this while working at the diner too.  Even when Marj was around she was help care for Laurie because she had no mothering instincts and would only get pissed at the baby which would only make her more pissed because Ally was a round.  Catch twenty-two.

     Well, that baby was now getting ready to turn four and Seth was looking to extend his family.  A way to help Ally financially during a difficult time too.  So, he comes up with this cut and dry way for Ally to be a pod that, carries his baby but doesn’t think the scientific way no the good old-fashioned way of making babies is good for him of “I want you in my bed.”  Not only that he drew up a contract to go with it.

     Ally has a major freak out.  After all these years of fantasying about him and tampering it down then he flat out she he wants to “F” her she can’t think so she runs.  She won’t talk to him.  Now this is new to Seth they haven’t gone more than a couple of days without calling or texting and this is torture for him.

     Not to mention if they ever make it into bed Ally has a huge surprise for him.  She had hoped that years ago he would have noticed her and married her but the day he walked down the aisle with another woman dashed that dream.  So, now almost thirty makes her almost a freak.  Life is about to get exciting.  After years of being friends and trying to hide her feelings, also year’s of having Seth in her erotic dreams was mind blowing enough but now for them to be acting on them.  It’s overwhelming to her.  To the point that after each encounter she runs and he understands and wants to get closer freaking her out.

     I loved Laurie the daughter of Seth, she was written so cute into this story which binds them as a couple.  She also, humanizes Oliver into a loving character opposite of what everyone sees him.  I ended up liking him too.  Sage well she’s sage what a hoot.  I give this: 5 stars.  Provided by netgalley.com.  Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.
