Wild Child

WILD CHILD                                                    A. S. GREEN

I have never been to a place so tiny. Little Bear Island could fit in New York's armpit. Still a job is a job and, after surviving Afghanistan, what's twenty-four hours in podunk hell?

Providing private security for a celebrity wedding is nothing new...until I come face-to-face with Natalie O'Brien. The woman who chose someone else and kicked me to the curb six years ago. Time has done nothing to tame her. She's a red-headed beauty with a sharp tongue and nerves of steel who could seriously knock me off my game…

When my assistant bails, Natalie jumps at the chance to get off this tiny island. Now we're stuck criss-crossing the country in my SUV, with her tantalizing scent filling the cab and her smart mouth making me very...uncomfortable. Good thing the job will be over soon. So why does the thought of saying goodbye a second time make my heart stop?

PAT'S REVIEW

A fun story about two people who come together after being apart for six years. Now Jax Spark owns his own security firm and is on an island for a celebrities wedding that his company was hired to provide security. The one person he was not expecting to see is Natalie O’Brien. She is the women who were a girl at the time that broke his heart after grabbing it and since then he has not let anyone close again. The ones he does either leave or die, his two friends from military are the voices in his head and a constant reminder of that. Now the two of them in his SUV acting like neither one remembers the other one and this only gets better when after the wedding Natalie agrees to go with him on his next job and then after that she goes with him to New Orleans where everything is brought out form the past. When she decides to go to New York and work with him things only get better to actually get worse to the point where she leaves once again. This time his friend tells him to go after her. There is a lot going on in this story. Their story is complicated and continues to get more complicated day after day. Read this good story to find out what happens. Very good characters from the beginning to the end, a very good book. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com
