Even if going back for seconds has disaster written all over it. Warning: Contains an appetizing one-night stand in a hotel, saucy sexcapades in a deserted stairwell and proof that sometimes you have to strip down and get naked in front of the mirror to truly see yourself. 

MY REVIEW:

     What do you do when you grow up with a mom who thinks she owns your life?  You know the ones that say, “I gave birth to you so therefore you owe me.”  Well those moms are mild compared to Madison St. James’s mom Patricia.  She is a social climber.  Originally trailer trash who is a poser now.

     She put Madison in pageants as far back as she could remember.  Taught her manners, how to walk, talk, who to talk to, and where to be seen.  No one or nothing got past Patricia.  So, when it came time for Madison to marry well she hand picked him too, Logan, a senator’s son.

     There was just one or two flaws in the ointment.  He can’t seem to live within his financial means.  So to solve that problem, Patricia pays him an allowance which he goes over also.  But when your daddy is a senator and his wealthy girlfriend’s mom want’s this he does it.  Plus this is his father’s final warning marry Madison and shape up or get cut off.  So…

     Bringing us to his second flaw.  Madison caught him cheating on her and she tells him it is over.  She then runs out to stay at the very hotel she caught him at.  Morbid? Yes!  She know it is.  But she just wanted revenge maybe.  She goes down to the bar orders a drink when she catches the eye of a Cole Langford.  Not of the rich side of the Langford’s he won’t claim them.  So don’t even try and lump them.  He won’t have it.  Anyway, he doesn’t like the rich but there is something about Madison that is different.  She is shy, mannered, unsure, yet bold, beautiful, and scared all at the same time.  Which totally captured him which in itself angers him.

     When she almost falls off her chair he is there to catch her.  He has no plans to bed her those days are behind him.  Yet, he can’t seem to turn away from this one.  But he is torn for he know he has his sister who is about her age who has physical therapy to do and so much more from an accident that had killed their mom.  She has overcome a lot but he has a chip on his shoulder and the rich side of the Langford’s to thank for that since they wouldn’t help when his sister needed them.  Resentment much?

     This was one hot story.  It grabs you from the get to.  The characters are bold and loud and in your face but they keep you on your toes.  I couldn’t put it down.  The sex scenes are hot so bring a fan.  I give this 5++++ stars.  Provided by netgalley.com.  Follow us at: www.1rad-readerreviews.com.
