Gone Too Deep (Search and Rescue #3)

GONE TOO DEEP                                            KATIE RUGGLE

In the remote Rocky Mountains, lives depend on the Search & Rescue brotherhood. But in a place this far off the map, trust is hard to come by and secrets can be murder...

George Holloway has spent his life alone, exploring the treacherous beauty of the Colorado Rockies. He's the best survival expert Search and Rescue has, which makes him the obvious choice to lead Ellie Price through deadly terrain to find her missing father. There's just one problem-Ellie's everything George isn't. She's a city girl, charming, gregarious, delicate, small. And when she looks up at him with those big, dark eyes, he swears he would tear the world apart to keep her safe.

With a killer on the loose, he may have no choice.

Ellie's determined to find her father no matter the cost. But as she and her gorgeous mountain of a guide fight their way through an unforgiving wilderness, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a dangerous man in search of revenge. And they are now his prey...

PAT'S REVIEW

Ellie Price is a city girl and enjoys her life in the city. Until one day it is interrupted by a phone call from her father saying that they are after him and he needs to go to the cabin. Not knowing who they are she finds out that he has not been in the hospital for months which also means he is not taking his medication. Now trying to remember where the cabin is will be a problem since she has not been there since she was ten. After speaking with her mother she decides to go to Colorado and look for her father. This now puts you into where the last book left off where the people in this small Rocky Mountain community are still trying to figure out who killed the person they found in the lake during a training exercise. Once she makes in town she is introduced to George and after some persuasion, he agrees to take her to her father’s cabin. First off let me say many questions are answered about the mystery. Second, there are some surprises about who had done some of the deeds one of the people I was surprised by. Which was actually good. I will say overall the hike and the story between Ellie and George are great. The author takes these two characters one huge in George, one small in Ellie and it works, but it is so much more that it is difficult for me to put in words or I would be giving away so much of the story. I think I liked this one better than the other ones and I am sure I have said that each time I have done a review. A very good book with very characters and a good storyline. I got this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 5 stars. Follow us atwww.1rad-readerreviews.com
