This book is like a few others where the female is because of her father’s will to marry in two months and stay married for one year. After talking to her friend who says he cannot do it for her. She receives a message from a man named Deacon Castle who after talking to him for two days and not agreeing to all of his terms she agrees to the marriage. For the most part, the story is like other stories but I did like her friends Josh and Emma who actually make the story funny and keep it going. The few problems I have with the story is that at the beginning of the book you are led to believe that Castle had spoken to her father before he had drawn the will up, but you don’t hear about any of that. She is also dealing with her feelings or lack of from her mother who has only looked at what is going on in the society pages, it was their housekeeper who taught Ashlyn to cook for example, but that is lightly touched on if you don’t pay attention. This book had its moments and I did like the supporting characters. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 3 stars. Follow us atwww.1rad-readerreviews.com
