When Reed strolls into Darcy Greer’s workplace offering to help save the struggling library, she isn’t buying it. The prickly Brooklynite knows Reed is exactly the kind of guy she should avoid. | Reed McMahon is a PR Wizz that cannot fix his own PR problems. It starts with an internet site called bad bachelors. Which you would think would have more than one person on it but that ie, not the case. Reed is the bachelor who is being talked about over and over on the site. The talking is not of a positive nature either. While all of this is going on, he has also decided to help an organization for free with his PR services. To help them with raising money for there cause. His assistant for years asks if he will look into a local library that she takes her little boy to which is also hurting for funds, donations, and books. Darcy Greer likes her library the way it is though she would like some money for new books and to paint. When meeting Reed she is not thrilled with any of his ideas with the fundraiser for she feels he is taking away from the library. What she doesn’t know is that by having it somewhere else with his connections more money will be raised for the items she wants for her library. What she does not like is having to spend so much time with him especially after reading everything that is being said about him. As the story goes along the characters all of them but especially the two main characters become more defined and begin to work things out. This becomes a truly fun story. A good story.
