HER SECRET CHRISTMAS HERO (Secrets of Cherry Lake #6)

HER SECRET CHRISTMAS HERO                          MALLORY KANE

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Allie McHale is spending this brutal Christmas Eve snowstorm in a barn in Marietta, Montana when suddenly she hears a horrible crash on the freeway near her ranch. She discovers a handsome lone survivor, a prisoner in handcuffs, and despite her apprehension about harboring a criminal, she rescues him anyway.

Jacob Reeves, on his way to Seattle to testify against his organized crime family, is miraculously saved by the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on, who has every reason not to trust him, but getting through a freezing Christmas Eve forces them to work together to survive.

During the long night, their chemistry is off the charts and Jake realizes that Allie could be the love of his life. But as soon as the storm is over, he’ll be gone. Is Jake destined to break both of their hearts, or will a Christmas tragedy end in a miracle?

MY REVIEW:
What a quick, fun, short story for a holiday read. This is about two people thrown together during some stressful conditions. Not only is there a winter storm moving into her area of Montana, Allie McHale is alone this Christmas except for her pregnant horse CeCe.
You see her father just passed away so it’s just her and CeCe. Who the vet said is not due to the thirteenth of December but something was telling Allie that since the vet would be out of town to stay close. So, she got prepared for a stay in the barn.
Good thing. You see Jacob Reeves was being transported as a witness, a sheriff officer from hell, who was driving recklessly because he was in a hurry to get home. You see he was mad that he had pulled the short stick to be the one to transport. And of course, an accident occurred.
Jake is the only one to survive. Allie is his savior. At first, she’s afraid of him since the sheriff had him handcuffed. Once, she got to know him things changed for the better.

Boy, do they get to know each other too. This was fast fun, romance. The relationship was quick. They knew how fast things could change and how lives could be cut short. Quick and erotic. I give this: 5 stars. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at: www.1rad-readerreviews.com.
