With Pat

Sorry I missed the last couple of weeks but life sometimes takes over. Anyway, what a past few weeks. Having a horse win the Triple Crown, and then the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup. Those were good games against the Lighting, and winning the Cup there in Chicago for the first time since 1938, all of their other cup wins came on the road, so that was a big deal as well. Then you have the Warriors beating the Cavs for the NBA title. Really though they had no one else on that Cavs team to help LeBron, and when he went out for whatever the reason the team they put on the floor didn’t even look like a NBA team. Not that I am taking anything away from the Warriors, they won and played good the whole year. I was glad to see them win and I can still remember the team with Rick Berry, winning the championship in the 70’s, so it was good for them and for the NBA.

  1. The NBA draft is next week and it will be interesting to see if both big men go one two or if a guard goes in there someplace now that Golden State won the Championship with a small line up. who knows? I still think that the two bigs will go one and two.

  2. Not that i know much about soccer but the governing board is still having problems with how they are going to be running things. I still could not believe that Blatt got elected but now says he is stepping down. I still think he is part of the problem because he did not think anything like this could happen but now wants to fix it. A little late if you ask me.

  3. It was nice to see a rookie pitcher for the Giants throw a no-hitter last week. I just happen to turn on the game and caught the last three innings it was good to see.

  4. Getting ready for football season. i can't wait. Been keeping up with the Packers training camp. They have all draft picks signed and in camp and really looking to seeing who comes out on top for the cornerbacks, widerceviers and inside linebackers positions. I know there are going to be some real battles for spots but that always makes the team better. Hopefully they can go farther than last year.

  5. Today started golfs U.S. Open and it is said to be like that of the British Open. Some golfers had good scores today and the rest had scores liked they talked about. Not that i could do any better golf is a very difficult game and i am amazed when i see some of the shots that they can do. Will be interesting to see who can pull it off to win or not to lose if they have the lead on Sunday.
