This book for me was a little slow. The main character James Bennett is a successful bull rider home for the off season, and because his father passed away. Helping his family is what he wants to do but he really can’t wait to get back out on the circuit riding those bulls. Sophie Stone has finished college and is working with an old-time veterinarian, and he gives her the duty to bring a new life into their ranch. James does not think a women or maybe she should not be left alone to do the birth, but when everything is okay he still does not say anything to her. It is the next day after being scolded by his mama, he apologizes the next day and there slow begins what begins a summer romance. She would like more and at times he would also but she really would like him to give up riding bulls. She still has a little more school to finish and yet they both want to be together.
