It seems my ex forgot to mention the demise of our marriage to her dear old grammie, and now we’re both expected to attend her ninetieth birthday party. In Boston. The third book in the series has Aubrey and Grant. Two lawyers who were married at one time but are now divorced. You are taken through their time together as Grant decides to drive Aubrey from Chicago to Boston because she broke her arm. She also has a cat and wants to take it. He knows all of these things plus she has also not told everyone that they are divorced or the reason for the divorce. The drive to Boston begins the look back into their life from college to marriage to the reason for their divorce. The reason for their divorce people may not agree with but I do understand the turmoil that she was going through. She was trying to keep everything a secret and when she found out that he had spoken to her grandmother everything began to unravel. Her tight nit life that she wanted to portray was blown apart along with the one person that she was still in love with Grant. She decided to follow him to Georgia and see if they could finally have any chance of being back together. The last part of this book is very good and brings you up to date on the couples from the other books also. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars.
