Spark (Burns Brothers #3)

SPARK                                                        GILLIAN ARCHER

Sabrina
He was a charming S.O.B. when I dated him two years ago, but the Logan Carter who arrives at Bad@ss Builds is a shadow of the one I knew. This Logan is surly, bitter, and scarred — evidence of the fire he survived marks him both inside and out.
Does he really not remember me?

Logan
I’m upright and functioning. Isn’t that enough? I shouldn’t even be alive. And I definitely don’t have time for the bubbly, gorgeous woman from my past who can do better than me.
No matter how much I wish I could be the man she remembers.

PAT'S REVIEW

The third book in the series is mainly about Sabrina. Two years she was dating Logan then he went off to fight a fire as a smokejumper. He didn’t come back though she knew he was alive. He would not take he calls, texts, or anything she had something important to tell him he was cutting her loose. Yet she knows he is here in the shop measuring for a sprinkler system that needs to be put in. he acts like he does not know her.
Logan was not expecting to see her again. He figured she had gotten married moved on with her life, but no here she is and now he has to deal with the past that he has still not dealt with. Once she figures out that it is Logan and gets angry and leaves, she goes to her mother’s diner. There she is again having to deal with another issue from her past, her father whom she said was dead. Yet he is standing in front of her talking to her mother. With so much to deal with it does not end there, she is dealing with her cousins, then their father once again makes an appearance in a big way which causes havoc. Meanwhile, you still wonder if Logan is ever going to move on from his issues? With all of this, it is a good story with good characters once again if with the different storylines the author does it in a way that you can follow along without a problem. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com
