“Put it in a sentence.” Zoe took a long swig of her drink, obviously thinking she had all the time in the world.

“Junky. The nature of junk.” Rory couldn’t help himself and smiled like a fourteen-year-old boy. “Or. I put my junky in your trunky.”

The next second purple liquid drained down on him as spat her drink on him. Zoe’s eyes bulged and she struggled to pull in air, laughing. “No way that’s a legal word.”

He stood, grabbed a nearby towel from a stack on the bench and wiped purple drops from his chest.

“That’s the second time you’ve done that to me.” He threw the towel in a heap in the corner. “And you call me a caveman.”

He sat and cocked an eyebrow.

She gazed at him a long second then jutted her chin. “I’m calling you on it.”

He leaned forward, his pulse hammering, scattering the tiles on his rack. “You know that’s an instant forfeit if you lose, Zo. You know the rules.”

“I do.”

She pushed back her chair and walked to the bookcase. His gaze raked down her legs, stilling on the shoes.  Fuck, they made her legs look good. She pulled out a dictionary and began flicking through the pages. Her eyes settled on a page for a long time before she nodded.

She came and stood in front of him, her eyes never leaving his, a very seductive and very sexy smile on her face. Her gaze dropped to his pants then went back to his face. She licked her lips, reached around and unhooked her bra.

“Keep on the shoes,” he ground out.

MY REVIEW:

     I love these characters.  I fell in love with them in “Burn For Me” that being able to read their completed story has been truly fun.  So, worth it.  I was able to get it for free one day on Amazon.

     I want to read about Lucy and Levi so I will break down and buy that book.  Tells you how much I enjoy Croix’s writing and her easy storytelling.

     Maisie is an interesting character.  She is like a prickly pear.  She comes with a lot of baggage that she got from her wandering father who by the way could keep a woman he did usefully after her mother passed.  She was more her father’s caregiver than the other way around.

     Making her realize at a very young age that with all the moving friendships weren’t worth it because her dad would rip her away again to reestablish herself again.  So, she learns o rely only on her and her alone, no one else.

     She comes to Alaska to be with her Grandma during her last two weeks of her life and she starts meeting all kinds of people.  Two years later she’s been working and her water heater goes out.  Beck her secret crush offers to help.

     But it’s on the same day as her most embarrassing moment since meeting him.  She says, yes to his help she can not be choosey.  Her best answer yet.

     Beck is so happy.  He’s been crushing for the last two years too.  So, that “Thank You” from her along with the smile meant the world to him.  After working and they had their first kiss this story heats up.

     Poor Beck’s flirtatious ways of the past are what seem to keep snagging them up.  She feels less than being a curvy girl who doesn’t wear makeup and who has out of control curly hair.  All the things Beck loves about her more. 

     You will love this couple as well as the cast of characters in Willow Brook, Alaska.  I give this: 5 ++++ stars.  Free on Amazon.

MY REVIEW:

     J.H. has a great way of pulling you into her story.  This is the first book I've read J. H. and I was able to pick it up for free on Amazon.  Happy to say book two is on at the time.  I picked it up so smart enough I got that too.

     Why because the two main characters for that book were so intriguing in this book you are good to keep an eye out.  for this was free too.

     Now, as for Amelia and Cade.  These two were high school sweethearts, who made it through college together.  They return home to Willow Brook, Alaska and are living together and everything.

     When a so-called friend of Amelia's since grade school decides that while Amelia is away for the weekend to sneak into her bed with Cade while he sleeps.  Only for Amelia to walk in while Cade is pushing her away while she is fully naked and trying to kiss him.

     Here's the kicker in five days Cade has to board a plane to California to go to training for a year with the Hotshots firefighters.  He tries up until he leaves to talk to Amelia but goes to California without her giving him a chance to give his side.

     Seven years go by and on the day she becomes a runaway bride is, the day Cade comes back into town. Both figuring out that their feelings for one another never died.  Boy, do they have some talking to do.

     I loved how all the females in this town are real women.  They can do it all.  Yet, you get their softer side in this but at times when you least expect it.  All the characters are flawed, fun, and so very interesting.  I give this: 5 stars.  Free on Amazon.  Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com.

MY REVIEW:

          It’s always amazing to me to read a short that convey, like this in fifty-five page how this story will flow.  Yet, this author managed it.  Alexis who it turns out I had read before just lately in fact, is not opposed to taking on stories that others may not.  Rival loves of stepbrothers, BBW romances, interracial romance, open marriage.

     This book is a BBW.  I love the energy the April.  She’s happy going and knows the morning that she has arrived at work.  She has put on a few extra pounds but happiness does that for her and she knows it will stabilize soon.  She barely gets into the office when a co-worker tells her she has put on weight and offers to help.

     When she is asked by both their bosses to head up a meeting.  So, important, it scares her she can’t help but do a jig in her head to spite what the co-worker said.  She is worried but goes home, changes and takes the meeting after tweaking the project.

     When she arrives the owner, Chase is waiting.  She is floored he’s gorgeous.  So, is Chase.  Chase is a billionaire and the owner of one of the biggest growing realtor companies around.

     He is a man who loves a woman with meat on her bones.  He does want a pretty face, with boobs on a body frame.  When he holds a woman he wants soft and all woman.
