HUBBY'S REVIEW:
An excellent book that first deals with how to clean and restore cast iron, and to season them. The author also goes over the different sizes and what you can use them for, example Dutch oven is real good for chili and any type of clobber, my opinion. I have used cast iron most of my life having growing up with them, and my wife and I have three different sizes of skillets and two different flat pans. These you can roast peppers etc... Heat tortillas, and especially good for grilled cheese sandwiches. She gives you many different recipes and I did like the one to make s’mores. Other ones we already do but still this is a very good book and the recipes are easy to follow and I thought the pictures were very good. The beginning of the book in the care of the cast iron is really useful and was good information. Overall an outstanding cook book. I got this book from netgalley. I gave it 5 stars.
