With Pat

Tonight is the NFL draft and up until the 15 pick that was a trade between San Diego and San Francisco there really was not any surprises for me. Now you have two running backs being drafted in the top 15 picks that has not happen in years. Three wide receivers have been drafted 2 quarterbacks a defensive back an OLB a defensive tackle and two offensive tackles. With the top two picks going as everyone thought they would.

Also tonight the Spurs are going to try and close out the Clippers. These games have for the most part been close and down to the last minutes of the game should be a good game. Will talk more about Calvin Pete who passed away the other day in a few moments.

  1. Calvin Peete, passed away April 29 2015. He was before Tiger the most successful African-American golfer on the PGA Tour with 12 wins. He started in 1975 and retired in 2001. He did play in majors but did not win any. He was born in Detroit Michigan. A member of the 83 and 85 U.S. Ryder Cup teams, he won the Vardon Trophy for the lowest scoring average in 1984. He was also a leader in driving accuracy for ten straight years, 1981- 1990. He passed away from lung cancer. A true leader on and off the course.

  2. The Thunder named Billy Donovan as their new coach and really not a lot of talk about that hire with the draft and boxing this weekend. I think this will be a good fit for him and the team and hopefully get them to that next step to the finals. We will have to wait and see.

  4. The Bulls tonight did a number on the Bucks. The 54 point margin was the third largest in history and the biggest in the Bulls history, what a win.

  5. Really no big surprises in the draft as of yet, even Shane Ray went in the first round to Denver. I do think that Carolina got a good pick with Shaq Thompson, and the Raiders with cooper. Really cant go wrong with any of the guys taken so far.

  6. This week in Baltimore was crazy and then yesterday they played a double header in an empty stadium, that is just weird and the pictures looked strange as well.
