Olive braces herself to get through 24 hours of wedding hell before she can return to her comfortable, unlucky life. But when the entire wedding party gets food poisoning from eating bad shellfish, the only people who aren’t affected are Olive and Ethan. Putting their mutual hatred aside for the sake of a free vacation, Olive and Ethan head for paradise, determined to avoid each other at all costs. But when Olive runs into her future boss, the little white lie she tells him is suddenly at risk to become a whole lot bigger. She and Ethan now have to pretend to be loving newlyweds, and her luck seems worse than ever. But the weird thing is that she doesn’t mind playing pretend. In fact, she feels kind of... lucky.

A fun story at times has Olive working with her twin sister who is getting married. Olive along with everyone else in the family goes along with that she is just unlucky. Ethan who is supposed to be her enemy and is the groom’s brother and best man. Had certain requests for his own special meal at the reception because he does not eat from a buffet. His whole thing has to do with food poisoning. Forgetting to get eat herself Olive begins to notice that the reception is starting to fade fast especially when a few of the people begin to vomit, next everyone except Olive and Ethan have food poisoning. Losing out on the trip that she won, Olive’s sister has her and Ethan go to Hawaii for what would have been their honeymoon. While there the two of them become more than friends but Olive also starts putting together that it was not Ethan getting his brother out of all of the family trips it was his brother the one Amie married. When they return home and Olive is trying to express her feelings and what she found out about her sister’s new husband she is shunned from everyone. Her sister, family, and Ethan know will believe what she is saying. Read this good book to see what happens at the exciting end. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars.
