True-Blue Cowboy (Rocky Mountain Riders #4)

TRUE-BLUE COWBOY                                  SARA RICHARDSON

Everly Brooks is finally living her dream. Renting a farm in Topaz Falls, Colorado, is the perfect antidote to her high-stress life back in San Francisco. It's the ideal place to raise chickens, grow veggies, and run her farm-to-table restaurant. There's just one problem: her new landlord. Mateo Torres is a handsome-as-hell bronc rider who oozes charm, melts hearts-and plans to kick Everly off the farm . . .

Mateo has dreams, too. He'd bought that land as an investment, so he could take care of his mom and sisters, which means Everly has to go. Unfortunately for him, this former big-city girl is just as stubborn as the broncs he rides. When his trailer floods and forces him to move into Everly's farmhouse, things between them really start to heat up. Sure, living under the same roof might not be the best way to settle their dispute over the land. But when two rivals share everything-from heated words to scorching kisses-it's definitely the hottest.

PAT'S REVIEW

Everly Brooks is living what she believes is her dream, a small cafĂ©, some chickens, a goat, a small garden, a few ducks and hopefully, she will be able to buy the farm she is renting one day. That all changes when Mateo Torres bronc rider buys the land with ideas of an investment. Wanting to turn it into condos. Not being back in the town in a while he is surprised to find that Everly has everyone by the heart and the stomach. People don’t just come for her coffee, but also for her food and pastries. Now fighting with a woman he figures without talking to her is going to go back to San Francisco, is surprised and shocked when people in the town begin to turn on him when they find out that he wants to kick her out. This is of course after she has him come into the house to live because his trailer gets flooded. When she overhears what he is going to do and not really from him she tells him to leave. Torres keeps thinking like he is getting the bad end of the deal, but all he is thinking about is himself really, and it is not until he realizes he wants, more than he decides to change and go to Everly. Some funny moments and some fun characters, overall not a bad story. I received this book from Netgalley.com I gave it 4 stars. Follow us at www.1rad-readerreviews.com
