Devastated, Holt spends a few days trying to figure out what went wrong and what to do next. He decides to grab a bite at a local cafe, unaware that it is owned by Kayla Burton. | *** COPY PROVIDED BY TULE PUBLISHING **** I AM LATE WITH THIS REVIEW, BUT I ENJOYED THIS STORY AROUND FOOD. ONE PERSON OWNS A FOOD TRUCK ANOTHER A BAKERY. BOTH ARE WORKING AT THEIR SAID BUSINESSES AND HAD MEET THE PREVIOUS YEAR. HOLT IS BACK IN THE TEXAS TOWN FOR A WEDDING AND HE WAS ATTRACTED TO KAYLA THE LAST TIME BUT SHE WAS WITH SOMEONE. WHEN HE FINDS OUT THAT SHE IS SINGLE THAT IS WHEN THE STORY BEGINS TO TAKE OFF AND THE BANTER BETWEEN THE TWO CHARACTERS INCREASES. SOME PARTS OF THIS LOVE STORY ARE LIKE OTHER BOOKS BUT THE AUTHOR DOES MIX IT UP AND WITH THE FOOD PART IT DOES ADD TO THE MIX. OVERALL A GOOD STORY.
