MY REVIEW:

Emily grew up with four brothers, three older and one younger. Then, there is Logan. Silas, her eldest brother’s best friend. There is fifteen years difference between her and him. It never stopped her from crushing on him and neither did her curves.

When she was a teen, she hated her curves. Because her soft squishy curves never got Logan to look at her. At least not the way he did the girls that were no good for him. But when he left the ranch to go on the rodeo circuit to be a bull rider, she thought he was gone for good.

Now, at twenty-nine, he’s back. With his eyes locked and loaded on her. He knows curves like hers are what he likes and hers. And she feels like home. He needs to convince her and break it to the family. Easy-peasy.

Two friends find each other on campus to let off steam they go to a sports bar to have a drink his treat. Elena being an only child of parents killed by a drunk driver she is working three jobs to live and pay for college.

Brent is from a family of billionaires. Yet, he doesn’t play trust fund baby or typical playboy because he accelerated his way through law school. Where he now heads the department for his father’s company.

Now, with his father having three grown sons and all unmarried. Nor have any children make an ultimatum that they all must be married by the end of the year or they are losing everything. What do you think Brant does?

Sonya Williamson may not actually be a writer, but with the kind of day she had. Jillian, a longtime friend, and chosen family. She didn’t see what harm in sneaking into a rodeo event this weekend. Especially,  an event set up for romance writers. What is one or two more women who would notice in an all those ladies at a rodeo grounds? Well, a blue vest that’s who!

Yes, two, it would be, Colt Wilder. That would be when he gets up to welcome everyone to the weekend event. He notices the most beautiful woman, with real curves and full breasts. A woman he wants to meet and know. When he makes contact, he comes to know her as Jane Harper. A contemporary western romance writer, along with her friend who is by her side to help her through a bad day.

When Colt and Sonya come together the chemistry is sizzling, he can’t wait to get his hands on her. She’s nervous the blue vests will nab them for not having a lanyard for the event. So, he gives them both a VIP pass.

See how the two women keep all the plates spinning. Not to mention keeping away from the blue vest lady. Trying to keep the story going with Colt and figuring out what is important in their lives.

Ruined wedding? That is one way to look at it, but things happen for a reason. In this case, this is a true statement. Hannah finds out Frank had been to sleeping with her twin, Jenna. One problem, she finds out from neither of them. It’s from someone who couldn’t forever hold his peace. Yup, the two cowards could act like rabbits but ended up being skunks.

Hannah decided to take that vacation to clear her head. On her first day on the beach and then again in the bar she meets Ian. They have explosive chemistry and end up spending the week together. When it’s time for her to leave Ian asks to exchange information, she says it’s best not to. So, he lets her go. But, one day can’t go by when they are both thinking they blew it.

See how this author takes sex meet-cute to sizzling heights. Where do you think they go from there?

Add to that payback of student loans, it leaves no time to even think about dating. But, now that Emily, her best friend, and her hubby, Dax is pregnant with their second child they need help.

So, Tiana can quit the job she had to be a nanny for Liam. She will have better hours, pay, and life. With that said it also gives her friends more time to fix her up with Dax’s friend, Brett. Yes, he is a sexy, large mountain of a man, who thinks Tiana is sexy.

Dax and he opens an indoor rock-climbing business and Tiana is there helping care for, Liam. The two find sparks between them during the time they are together. Their time together over a course of a couple of weeks passes. You find out this alpha male is not as confident as you may think of him to be.

An overly complex couple and situation as well.

MY REVIEW:

Clint & Ron gets called out to a home invasion with the homeowner in the home. They rush over to find Faith the homeowner completely shaken up. To the point where she asked to see ID. Clint right away shows right away that he is aware of the beauty of her eyes yet the fear he sees in them.

She explains the intruder was her ex. He enters her home, which used to be theirs, uninvited. They argued with him chasing her into her room with a kitchen knife. As she is talking it is all Clint can do to focus because he is so taken with her. She is a curvaceous full-figured woman that knows how to dress her curves.

The chemistry of the two characters is great. The story then tried to be suspenseful, found itself disjointed somehow. The way it ends left me feeling at odds. I am asking more questions and wondering if Clint didn’t need to join Colin behind bars.

Lucy is an elementary school teacher and lives next door to hunky, Cooper a firefighter. Coop has been jonesing after Lucy since she moved in. The minute he gets home he watches her come and go even scoping out her name at the mailboxes. Not a creeper though, wow!

Although, don’t think that the creeping is exclusive to Coop. Nope, not even a little. Lucy keeps tabs on his player's scorecard, she also knows that last weekend he brought home, two hits, and quits.

After, the burnt pizza at her home, things sizzle at his, although he makes it clear he doesn’t do relationships. But when he wakes, she is the one who has ducked out quiet as a mouse. That is usually his role, now it’s on him not sure how he feels, hum. She says okay to the one and done. So, she didn’t ghost him. See how well that works for them. When she slips and tells him, it makes him even more, intrigued by her.

This is an unbelievably cute quick story worth the read. I give this: 5 stars. I found this free on Amazon.

Rain, the bride to be and mother to his children never comes to meet him at the altar. Instead, it is his crying female best friend and Rain’s maid-of-honor, Livy. With her makeup streaking her face, he knew it had to be bad. She tries to hand him a note that will change all their futures.

Now, three years have passed and the triplets are starting kindergarten. If it weren’t for his best friend, Livy, the children’s Godmother he would never have made it. She is the female role model they can look up to and feel secure with.

Until an ill-received letter reaches Houston‘s desk that he thought was gone for good. Once again, she wants to rock his world but this time the children are old enough to feel the effects.

Gracie is home on the farm for her older sister’s wedding. It turns out the best man is friends with the guys in the hotties rising indie band out right now. Now they are playing here at her sister's wedding.

She wishes she could be more excited, but when her family finds out she bombed out of her first year of college. That she may lose my scholarship and she did get kicked out of her summer intensive program. They will be unhappy.

She has always felt the pressure to measure up being the youngest of five. The best student, cheerleader, and daughter. Being away from home where she was the big fish little pond, well you get it.

When she first makes some serious eye contact with the lead singer who made it feel like he was singing to her. Then, meeting the guitarist Logan who was free a free spirit. And he hears her talking about wanting to travel. He proceeds to invite her on their music tour across the United States.

So, at nineteen, to put off telling her parents she sort of runs away. She meets up with Logan, his twin Dean, and Joey. Who are all happy to have her along. The one holds out is the one she thought she had a connection with, Colin. He is in no uncertain terms saying, no. He loses this round.

This turns into summer she will never forget. Kennedy has well thought out characters, made for sheer fun. But don’t let it fool you this little book can touch in someplace that you aren’t prepared for. But she takes you through but brings the characters back around. She didn’t allow Gracie to be a victim of circumstances.

Sydney and Nate had grown up on Firefly Beach. Yet, it was Malory and Sydney who were best friends growing up and Malory who encouraged the two to go out together. I mean whoever wants their gross older brother to date their BFF? Well, she did, she knew this much they both love to write one song and the other anything creative or for a cause. It was the two of them.

Imagine Malory’s dismay. After four years of dating Sydney. Her brother, Nate, dumps her, after being inseparable. And by all accounts, they had been sickening in love. Yes. Her, big brother packs up his truck after they graduate from college. Says, goodbye to her then, with no explanation, he gets into his truck and drives off never looking back.

Ten years later, he’s come back for Sydney's sister, Hallie, and his best friend, Ben’s, wedding. Ben (she is Hallie and Ben's best friend too) grew up at Starlight. Sydney not happy. Not seen him in ten years. Way to ruin the experience of her sister’s wedding for her. See what happens. Can two people who once love beyond the stars now be around each other?

Book one, I couldn’t get into, this one had me right away. Sydney had the dilemma that every single mom goes through when they have been single so long. Introducing someone new to their world. But I don’t know. In reality, don’t know if most women would put up with Nate’s double talk. For a songwriter, he could string words together to tell a straight story of reality or truth.

My Review:

This is a well thought out complex story that pulls you right in. Richards’ characters are funny and multi-layered. Like us all, the characters have issues. Some are at the surface, it the ones that we can’t hide, the underbellies, they are the most interesting.

You will meet a cast of characters that is for sure but not so many that you feel overwhelmed. Our, main character, Blair, the h has a whopper set of parents. Well, her brothers and grandpa are great. You see she is the only though in Masonville, North Dakota caring for grandpa. Bad ticker as they used to say.

Garrett is the love interest since she was fifteen and hung with her brothers and never even noticed her. This time when they meet like did, only on summer breaks, they have no clue who the other is. Garrett’s injury in the line of duty so left the Marines looking harsh. Blair, it seems grew up and filled in.

Their meeting was over a misunderstanding on Blair’s part. In this case, it turns out to be an incredibly good thing. One that changes both their lives forever.
